World of Wearable Art at Peabody Essex Museum

We have all been on an amazing journey together since we launched our Cape Ann Wearable art initiative ten years ago and our runway shows in 2011.  One of our inspirations to keep going was the incredible international success of the World of Wearable Art shows and the Museum in Nelson, New Zealand.  The  seARTS community was honored to be part of this exhibit at the Peabody-Essex Museum featuring many pieces from the permanent collection of that museum.

The looks below were displayed on live models during the opening events at the PEM.   Congratulations to these artists and also to Redat Davidson of RISD whose look was chosen, but unfortunately the timing did not work out for her to participate.
