seARTS Wearable Art Group is a collaboration of like-minded artists from Cape Ann and beyond.

As creatives, our shows inspire all of us to stretch and experiment.  We are sending the message that “wearable art” is for everyone to own and enjoy.

Celebrate  Wearable  Art

The  Celebrate Wearable Art Runway Show exhibits diverse works of hand-made, one-of-a-kind jewelry, clothing, and accessories.   On our runway, we show this and MUCH more - providing an opportunity for any CREATIVE to participate in their own genre or a new medium.

We welcome lovers of wearable art here for a world class experience on Cape Ann!  Congratulations to our "makers" who were a part of the Celebrate Wearable Art Marketplace!

"The Wearable Arts event was a wonderful, fun, incredibly imaginative, high caliber event, which “blew me away” ! I have been a jewelry designer for 20 years, who has participated in many shows and “market places” throughout the years, participating in the Runway portion for the first time, propelled me into creating a completely new line and “look” to go with it." -Sonja Grondstra

Fashion Arts @the MFA: #Techstyle show is powerful!  A review by Jacqueline Ganim-DeFalco, Chair seARTS Cape Ann, Celebrate Wearable Art

The MFA has curated a mind-expanding, exhibit, #Techstyle that presents Boston’s fashion sensibilities in a new way, separate and distinct from neighboring fashion centers. #Techstyle is smart, futuristic, fun, and fully capitalizes on the local economic pillars – technology, textile industry inheritance, academia, and the brightest engineering and innovative minds in the world. And out of all this, beauty and elegance emerge in new ways. Attendees at opening night also embraced #Techstyle their own way by wearing digital printed clothing and accessories, LED lit jewelry and tattoos, and the unforgettably elegant “bionic model,” dancer, designer, Viktoria Modesta whose unique fashion statement modeling her prosthesis was breathtaking! Behind the Scenes at CWAIII

It’s truly takes an amazing team effort to pull off a runway show!  When we began in 2011, we didn’t even have a stylist.  In fact, our behind the scenes photographer, Terry Weber, instantly became the head of back stage operations without even knowing what she signed up for.  So for 2015, we asked her to be a fly on the wall and show us what was happening below the stage.   In fact, things ran pretty smoothly…..but it’s still fun to peek!  Thanks Terry for the great pics!
